Implementation: What activities are you going to implement?

  • Development of school gardens linked to school curricula and classroom programming, including SDGs in their teaching and managed digitally with various sensors and the use of Scratch and Arduino.

  • Events and face-to-face experience for teachers with analysis and evaluation of results.

  • Didactic units on ODS and techniques regarding the methodology involved in school gardens.

  • Face-to-face and online dissemination events. Face-to-face learning activities among diverse students.

Results:

Didactic units related to ODS and the use of Scratch in the management and development of school gardens, School gateway and twinspace with examples and resources, training for teachers and a multiplier event to apply school gardens as a regular resource in the classroom and use it both in STEAM education and in the development of ODS among students.

Our Approach

At SGODS, we have developed a unique approach to experiential learning by organizing immersive farm trips and interactive workshops for students. Our program is designed to foster a deeper understanding of nature, agriculture, and sustainability, while encouraging active participation and curiosity. As part of our hands-on learning activities, students are introduced to modern agricultural technologies, such as automatic watering systems using Arduino, giving them a glimpse into smart farming practices. We believe in creating a learning environment that nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and a sense of responsibility towards the environment and the community.
