Aurelio Gómez Escolar School

The Aurelio Gómez Escolar is a private educational center owned by the Caja de Burgos Foundation. It provides a continuous educational project for students aged 3 to 16 years, covering Infant Education, Primary, and Secondary levels. The school employs 23 full-time teachers and has a focus on integrating both culturally and economically disadvantaged students with those who have more resources. The school has developed an online teaching methodology and assessment system, achieving high levels of student engagement and nearly no school failure.
The school has extensive experience in managing Erasmus+ KA2 projects, having coordinated teams, promoted project diffusion, and advised partners on the impact development. The Aurelio Gómez Escolar is particularly involved in projects aimed at innovating educational methods and collaborating with other European schools. The school’s activities in this project focus on gardening and agriculture methodologies, which they wish to exchange with European partners.

IES Teguise is a public secondary education institution located in Teguise, Lanzarote, with a history dating back to 1993. The school currently serves 716 students and employs 68 teachers, offering secondary education, Baccalaureate in Humanities, Social Sciences, Science, and Technology, as well as Vocational Training in specialized fields like Childhood Education, Social Integration, and Agroecological Production.
IES Teguise brings valuable experience in working with a diverse student population, including students with disabilities, those from underprivileged socio-economic backgrounds, and students without these challenges. The school’s approach integrates different profiles into the same context, fostering inclusivity and providing hands-on learning opportunities in school garden maintenance. This experience, including participation in STEAM activities, aligns with the project’s focus on gardening and environmental education.

The organization strives to develop students' multiple intelligences and a broad range of skills, offering quality and engaging education. Their approach encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and creative autonomy, fostering a love for knowledge and discovery.
In this project, UYCEP brings its expertise in individualized educational coaching, helping students become active participants in shaping their personal development and life projects. The organization works with gifted children aged 3 to 18, providing personalized support to enhance their learning experience.
1st Secondary School of Acharnes

Acharnes, Greece

The 1st Secondary School of Acharnes is a public school located in Acharnes, a suburb near Athens, Greece. With approximately 300 students aged 13-15 years and 30 teachers, the school serves a diverse community, including students from low socio-economic backgrounds, migrant families, Gypsy communities, and expatriate Greeks from the Black Sea region.
The school focuses on inclusion, social integration, and environmental education, particularly engaging students facing social, behavioral, or learning challenges. The school has implemented numerous Erasmus+ projects over the last seven years, leading to improved academic performance and social skills for students. The involvement in ICT-based activities, theatre, dance, photography, and gardening supports both the educational and extracurricular development of students.
